Steve has been a leader in the surrogacy community for almost two decades and has been practicing as an attorney since 1982. His passion to help families through surrogacy started with the birth of his two children and the realization of the love and bond between a parent and child. He works daily to make surrogacy and other family-building options available to as many aspiring parents around the world as possible. He also advocates to ensure these family-building options are safe and ethical for all parties. Steve is an active leader in numerous professional organizations, including the Society for Ethics in Egg Donation and Surrogacy (SEEDS), RESOLVE Infertility, the American Fertility Association, the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, and the American Bar Association Assisted Reproductive Technology Committee. He devotes much of his time to writing articles, contributing to various media interviews and publications, and advocating at the local legislature and internationally as an expert in assisted reproduction and on behalf of those families who need surrogacy and other third party options to have a family. Personally, Steve is an avid traveler and loves creating friendships with IARC’s clients all around the world. The most important thing in life for Steve is his family, which consists of his wife of 22 years, two children, two grandchildren, and more grandchildren on the way! His children have dubbed him “Cool Grandpa Steve” because of his fun-loving nature, never-ending energy, and overall zest for life!
